Great small place with obviously handmade fresh food. Everything we ordered was delicious. Other than the pork dumplings. The flavor was great but they were a little doughy. Everyone at the table devoured their order and we're very happy with it.Great portions and affordable prices considering the current economy. Will definitely be back.
We got the spicy beef noodle soup and the the spicy fish wok. Both were amazing! The spices and fresh noodles was delicious! Highly recommend this place. Next time we are going to try the Simpsons and steam buns saw it on someone else table and it looked great!
The pork dumplings were bouncy, plump and generosity stuffed with flavorful meat and veg and lightly fried in a clean fresh oil - perfection! The beef broth was rich in five spice goodness and developed bone broth richness. Will come again to eat everything. Packed for lunch on a Thursday.
Go! I need to be sure this restaurant stays in business. I have been there 3 times so far and everything I have tried so far has been excellent. The fresh noodles have the perfect chew. The beef broth they use in the soup noodles Is very flavorful and satisfying. The Chinese hamburger is very flavorful and juicy, the fresh made bun really makes it; I will warn you the cumin one is pretty spicy. I’m slowly working my way through everything on the menu though it’s always hard to decide if I want to get something that I know is delicious or something new.
Very chill and lowkey spot. I ordered two chili oil hand pulled noodles, cumin burger, and wok shrimp. Hand pulled noodles were very chewy and bouncy reminds me of the ones in nyc. Cumin burger has a punch of flavor, very yummy. The shrimp however was something I wasn’t expecting, it was incredible. The sauce complemented the shrimp, eating the shrimp with shell, you can taste all the flavor. Having some potato’s with the shrimp was such a nice touch! I didn’t take the best pictures since I was ready to eat .
First of this kind of restaurant in Charlotte! Freshly hand pulled noodles Northern style. Flavors are very authentic. Glad the Chinese food scene in Charlotte is getting better!
The food here was absolutely amazing! I can't wait to bring my family and my friends to get this authentic noodle dish. I tried the cucumber appetizer and the pan fried dumplings with the beef clear broth and the noodles were just perfectly made. The portion size was very generous and the service was absolutely amazing. I didn't see one person not smiling the entire time while I was eating. I can't wait to come back
Lovely little spot in Matthews. Came to try some food here with my little brother the other day and personally had the Mapo Tofu. It was really spicy but I'm learning to eat spicy so it's definitely more than I can handle at the moment. Still amazing! Highly recommend people to give this place a try
